The leaves are changing color.  There's a nip in the air.  Fall is here and it's got me thinking about finding some place warm and taking my notebook with me.

A couple of years ago, one thing I loved to do was hit the coffee shop for some writing time.  I loved having something warm and sweet to drink and the way that getting out of the house helped me focus on writing.  Out of the house pages were good pages.  I was free from the distractions of home and I could usually get more done in an hour at the coffee shop than an hour at my desk in the spare room.

Fall makes me crave hot drinks.  Hot drinks go along with writing.  Fall = good writing time for me :)

How about you?  What's your favorite/most productive writing set up?

It's never the same--which is frustrating. Right now it's in the recliner with a true crime show on the television with the sound low.

Of course you know Panera has hot drinks, but the gelato place in University Village has a set-up that reminds me a little of It's A Grind with a fireplace and everything. And they serve coffee AND ice cream.

Just sayin'.

Most productive space in generally my office space. Especially if I can crank the music up.

I totally forgot that there's a gelato place there. I'm going to have to remedy that oversight ;)
